Ravenloft Manor is open! If you are a Gold Explorer then you can go on a mission to get the key which opens the gate and lets you inside the Manor. It is decorated for Halloween and there are lots of ghosts and things that you can zap for coins.

You can also meet Bram Dracovich at the manor each afternoon and I think he’s giving out special charms.

Which Key?

There is a key you will need to have to unlock the gates to Bram Dracovich’s manor in Dizzywood. This is the haunted mansion that just appeared in Presto’s Edge last week. I think it’s going to open soon and we need the key. The Dizzywood team posted a message on their blog showing sketches of six different keys and we need to guess what the real key looks like.

Mystery Gates in Dizzywood

I went to Presto’s Edge this weekend and there are some really big gates in the back near where Brooke Lodgington is standing. Then I saw a post on the Dizzywood Explorer’s Journal with a picture of the gates and it explained more about what they were!

There is someone named Bram Dracovich and he has a house called Ravenloft Manor. I searched on Ravenloft Manor on Google and it’s also the name of a Dungeons and Dragons story about vampires! So maybe Bram is a vampire?? That would be perfect for Halloween!

I think I have a vampire costume in my DW backpack to celebrate.

Go to Presto’s Edge and you can see the gates. They look spooooooky!!!

Charms

Ok so you can now get charms in Dizzywood. They are little pictures that show up next to your name. You can collect the charms yourself or ask people to put a charm on you. There are five free charms that anyone can find and one charm that is only available for gold explorers. These are the charms.

Sandbar Palooza Party

The Sandbar Palooza Party on Dizzywood started this weekend and it runs all the way through next weekend! To get there you need to click on the banners that are in Breakwater Beach and Presto’s Edge. Here’s what the party looks like when you arrive!

There is a free hat that you can get if you click on the chest next to Admiral Hawksbill. And if you talk to the Admiral you can play three different games and the prizes for winning are more free stuff.

There is also a members-only party that you get into from a wrecked ship on the right side of the sandbar but I couldn’t get in because I’m not a member.

Free Lei Headband on Dizzywood

Hi everyone. In Dizzywood now you can get a free Lei Headband if you go to the entrance of Presto’s Edge and click on the box. There is also a message that you read that tells you about an upcoming thing called Sandbar Palooza which sounds like the party that the Admiral mentions in the messages he left for Cecil on Breakwater Beach. If you haven’t seen those messages just go to Breakwater Beach and click on the two bottles that are lying on the sand near the water.

This is where the first bottle is on Breakwater beach.

Sweet Hats

New hats tomorrow. Probably just for members. But they look good! These hats will be for sale in Groomfur’s in Canal City and not at the usual store in Presto’s Edge.

Oh and Color War starts tomorrow too. I’m on the Green Team! Go Green!

Presto’s Edge – There is a cauldron

There is a big bubbling cauldron in the middle of Presto’s Edge. It is surrounded by a circle of rocks and it’s there because of COLOR WAR!

Uncover the Operative

This new mission in Dizzywood is called Uncover the Operative and in the mission you need to find four pieces of a torn photograph that will reveal the secret identity of one of Spy Bear’s operatives. There are clues for all four pieces of the photo and when you find them they will piece together.

Here is where the four torn photo pieces are:

Presto’s Grove (below where Airship Pilot Higgins is standing).
Wildwood Glen (near the pond)
Tanglevine Jungle (up near the top where you first enter)
Gilbert Square West in Canal City (on the far right side of Whiskercheek’s Cafe)

I don’t want to reveal who the operative is but I was really surprised. When you find all four pieces, you see the picture of the operative and the mission is complete. You get 300 coins as a reward. I bet there will be a mission soon where you have to work with the secret operative on a mission for Spy Bear.

Box with Colors in Garden Gazebo

There is a box with splattered colors all over it in the Garden Gazebo. It looks like paint or something is all over the box. It doesn’t do anything when you click on it but I think it has something to do with the Color War event that Dizzywood mentioned is coming in June!
